About Natty Little Yogis

Natty Little Yogis

Hi  – I’m Natalie, founder and owner of Natty Little Yogis.

Children face more academic and social pressures than ever before. In addition, adolescents sometimes have to navigate overwhelming physical and mental developments.

Practicing yoga and mindfulness on a regular basis, has a proven significant positive impact on physical and mental wellbeing for all ages.

My background in education and degree in Performing Arts combined with a dedicated yoga practice since 2011, led me to train and set up NattyLittleYogis – a yoga practice specialising in yoga for children and teens to address these pressures.

I am passionate about children’s and teen yoga. Having qualified as a (200hrs) RYT in Sivananda hatha yoga, I am also fully qualified in teaching children’s yoga through Special Yoga Foundation as well as the TeenYoga Foundation.

In addition, as a parent of two children, I fully understand the pressures they face. I’ve seen at first hand the benefits of practicing yoga and mindfulness from an early age; improved concentration and communication, confident self-expression and physical and emotional wellbeing.

Natty Little Yogis runs regular small group sessions for children and teens.

About Natty Little Yogis

Testimonials:

Some of the lovely things people have said about Natty Little Yogis…

My 7 year old does a Natty Little Yogis morning class before school lessons start – and that is definitely the one day of the week we have no trouble getting her out of bed and to school! She loves the classes, she has started very proudly showing us the postures she has learnt and we can see her strength, balance and confidence improving. Has been great for her both physically and mentally  – fantastic way to start the day!
Vilna, Eveline Day School parent

Alexander has immensely enjoyed your classes-they are the highlight of his week! He loves practicing his positions every chance he gets and showing off to whoever will watch. I truly believe these classes have helped him become a calmer, more focused five year old with flexibility and balancing skills to last a lifetime. Thank you, Natalie for inspiring him!
Caroline, Eveline Day School parent

Natalie always make sure the exercises are never too hard, just challenging enough that I feel confident to do them and relaxed and grateful when I leave; my favourite thing is the Ujjayi breathing exercise even though it sounds funny, it gives me calming thoughts.
Lucy, 13 yrs old

My daughter really enjoys her experience each week.
Lisa Keegan, Parent of Lucy

My daughter started yoga with Natalie over a year ago and was hooked after her first class; it is clear that Natalie’s knowledge and experience flows from her and into her students.  She has a calm assurance and instils a love of yoga to her students with a mixture of passion and compassion. My daughter has found her classes enjoyable and they have contributed positively to her physical and mental wellbeing.
Rex Obano and Tarla, 4yrs old

My little girl has always been highly strung, anxious and suffers from under confidence partly due to her struggling at school (she has dyslexia).  I think these classes have been great for her in controlling her anxiety and for her seeing her own self worth.  I particularly love her saying something positive about herself each day and believing what she says.  I would love for her to continue with you as I think this is such a massively important thing for Lucy and as a parent, I couldn’t be more grateful to you for running these sessions.  Lucy has loved them and I think massively benefited; thank you for making such a difference to my little girls life.
Parent of Lucy, 7yrs old

I have really enjoyed the yoga classes from Natalie. They are very calming and shows the best in me!
Carlotta, 11yrs old

This yoga that Natalie has kindly shared with me has made me feel relaxed and calm. It has stretched my muscles and made me much more flexible.
Madeleine, 12yrs old

Natalie is a brilliant yoga teacher. She looks for the best in people and has taught me so much, like helping me to bounce back if I try to give up. I am not very stretchy but after a few yoga lessons I now feel very stretched! Thank you very much- I always feel very relaxed with you teaching me; I especially love the lavender bags you put on my eyes!
Emilia, 12yrs old

Natalie – Thank you so much for all your work last term. The sessions went down extremely well with the children and they were disappointed not to have more this term!

Head of Sport, Broomwood Hall Upper School

Thank you so much for your really interesting feedback.  The students have spoken incredibly positively about your workshop – it was clearly the favourite that week.  I have asked whether we can find a regular slot for some Sixth Form yoga next academic year; it sounds like you made a real impact on them. Thank you again for your help with Uni Prep Week.

Head of Sixth Form, Royal Russell School
