Natty Little Yogis

Hi  – I’m Natalie, founder and owner of Natty Little Yogis.

Children face more academic and social pressures than ever before. In addition, adolescents sometimes have to navigate overwhelming physical and mental developments.

Practicing yoga and mindfulness on a regular basis, has a proven significant positive impact on physical and mental wellbeing for all ages.

My background in education and degree in Performing Arts combined with a dedicated yoga practice since 2011, led me to train and set up NattyLittleYogis – a yoga practice specialising in yoga for children and teens to address these pressures.

I am passionate about children’s and teen yoga and am a qualified (200hrs) RYT in Sivananda hatha yoga; I am also fully qualified in teaching children’s yoga through the Special Yoga Foundation as well as the TeenYoga Foundation.

In addition, as a parent of two children, I fully understand the pressures young people face. I’ve seen at first hand the benefits of practicing yoga and mindfulness from an early age; improved concentration and communication, confident self-expression as well as physical and emotional wellbeing.

Natty Little Yogis runs regular small group sessions for children and teens.

We also provide group classes, private family sessions, or bespoke yoga parties.

Natty Little Yogis also teaches yoga and mindfulness in schools. Local schools and organisations we have worked with include; Albemarle Primary School, Broomwood Hall Prep and Upper School, Burntwood School, Eveline Day School, Gemstones Gymnastics Club, Henry Cavendish School, Hornsby House School, Lochinvar Pre-school Playhouse, Penwortham Primary School, Royal Russell School and the Deutsche School London. Natalie always make sure the exercises are never too hard, just challenging enough that I feel confident to do them and relaxed and grateful when I leave; my favourite thing is the Ujjayi breathing exercise even though it sounds funny, it gives me calming thoughts.
